I’m not sure how many of you have seen this old video of the Bush Victory Salute, but it was news to me, so I thought I’d share. I got the original video source from the Video Vote Vigil and captioned it as an exercise in hand-rolled SMIL. There is also a text transcript available.

While celebrities like Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and Christina Aguilera have been out encouraging the public to vote, some of the most clever and provocative “get out the vote” messages have remained tucked away on a Web site.
As the piece states, the Get Out the Vote poster campaign is intended as a non-partisan initiative to encourage voter turn-out. Download and print out your favorite posters for your home, office, or neighborhood. Exercise your civic responsibility.
I’ve documented a major accessibility problem with Windows XP Service Pack 2, when used in conjunction with JAWS 5 and the SP 2 pop-up blocker for Internet Explorer 6. I would appreciate verification or other insight if you have it.
